Supernova (A Mental Health Musical Comedy) Solo Show

Inspired by 3 brothers who’ve died by suicide, and losing 2 mothers to cancer, Supernova is a fanciful one woman musical comedy, expressing the impact of surviving so much loss while still finding the joy and beauty in life. In this multiverse, our heroine belongs to a family of elite superheroes who’ve just been tasked to save the world from a deadly, “emotional” pandemic causing people to self-destruct. For the first time, Liza’s spiritual powers shine, but the closer she gets to the cure, the farther away she drifts from her own happiness. Through multimedia, dance, and originally composed pop music, Liza learns the importance of healing herself in order to heal the rest of the world.
