This one woman’s healing journey takes her through her painful past of adoption, childhood wounds, sexual trauma, suicide, and her struggles with mental illness. She discovers ways to not hit her panic buttons, those coping mechanisms that don’t serve her anymore that only keep her small, quiet, and hidden when life becomes unsafe. Seeking to embrace “the me in her mess” through a few tears, a few laughs, and a few face plants along the way she works to reclaim her resiliency as she learns the search for self-love starts from within.
