What happens when a woman doesn’t hit all of the typical “milestones” until later in life than the average person, and hasn’t even begun to come into a real understanding of who she is and what she wants until now? Avery, the quintessential “late bloomer” in every sense, takes the audience on a journey of her sheltered upbringing and “delayed” life milestones, leading up to her first adult heartbreak. She discovers parts of herself she never knew existed, resulting in some radical personal transformation and some hard lessons she’s never had to learn until now.
