Chemo Barbies is an Internationally touring solo show and was in the Edinburgh Fringe 2018, where it was listed as one of the TOP 10 BODY POSITIVE SHOWS TO SEE, OUT OF 4,000 SHOWS!!! It premiered in the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017 winning an Encore Producer’s Award and began touring immediately. It was a part of the Outdoor Voices Festival 2017 and the Theatre West Solo Fest 2017. Additionally, it has played at the Whitefire Solofest 2017, 2018,2019. Most recently, it was a part of the Los Angelos Women’s Theatre Festival 2019 and currently will be performing in Sonoma for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2019 as well as City of Hope 2019. It was a part of the BINGE Festival 2018 and most recently as part of the prestigious Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival 2019.

Chemo Barbie is my personal story; however, it affects people on many levels since it covers: mortality, body image, relationships, fertility, and mental health. The show grows as I continue with “maintenance mode” treatment and as I live life beyond cancer, raising our foster daughter, and making fertility choices I never thought I’d have to make due to cancer.
