Synopsis:
What if voices in our mind could talk? What would they say about our relationships – the good, the bad, and the ugly…really ugly?
Diana Varco’s solo show Shattered answers that question and more in a fast-paced, comedic and heart-breakingly raw one-person play – told through the voices of 35+ characters.
What starts with Diana asking herself ‘Why don’t I date much?’ becomes a shocking and satirical exploration of past experiences that shaped her views of sex, dating and relationships.
Through narration, flashback and character personification, Diana delivers a powerhouse performance – opening up nuanced conversations around mental health and healing, sexual agency and assault, the power of Shame and much more.
Using comedy to navigate tragedy, Shattered ultimately tells the tale of one individual picking up the broken pieces of herself and learning to live again.
