International singer TL Forsberg, known in Deaf Culture as the Deaf Lady Gaga, brings her lived experience to the stage in Between Two Worlds, a 60-minute solo show with original music and ASL. A visually stunning solo show tracing a hard-of-hearing singer’s rise, fall, and confrontation with fame and cancel culture. Guided by a disabled and a Trans character, it confronts identity, oppression, and calls for radical inclusivity, giving voice to hybrid identities—those who feel marginalized even within marginalized communities. Bold, urgent, and unforgettable, it moves from exile to advocacy, leaving audiences breathless, moved, and searching for language to hold what they’ve just witnessed. As a touring Deaf and Disability Advocate, TL has performed at over 40 festivals and was nominated for Top of the Fringe, won Best of Festival five times, and received the Diversity Scholarship at The Hollywood Fringe, the Solo Splash Award with Namba Arts, the Deaf Artist Pearl Award, and the Rainbow Award for artistic work that fosters non-traditional and multicultural theatre. Between Two Worlds sold out at Solofest and continues to tour as a keynote performance. Critics hail her as “a force to be reckoned with” (Noho Arts) and warn, “She will shake you to your soul!” (Broadway World). Audiences are calling it “powerful and inspirational. The show stays with you long after the lights go down! ”(Noho Arts)
