Synopsis: Set during the chaos of the 2016 election, 6 out of 10 is a darkly funny and deeply personal one man show about a struggling gay actor who measures his worth on a ten point scale. Raised in the South and shaped by religious expectations, family silence, and unresolved childhood trauma, McKinnon has spent his life trying to be “seen.” Through a whirlwind of relationships, he searches for validation in all of the wrong places. 6 out of 10 is a raw, theatrical journey through love, politics, trauma, and self-reclamation: proving that no one can rate your worth but you.
