It’s a beautiful day for an ego death! Breakup Addict follows the journey of a woman who hits rock bottom after having two simultaneous crash-and-burn relationships with unavailable (and questionable) men. With nowhere else to turn, she reluctantly starts attending 12-step meetings for love addiction, only to uncover some much deeper trauma that she has to face as she rebuilds her relationship to herself. Playing over fifteen different characters, Paige brings a comedic twist to some dark and taboo topics as she brilliantly depicts the ever-humiliating journey of a love addict. Breakup Addict appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023 and was awarded Best of Fest at Solofest in 2023 and the Hollywood Fringe Producers’ Award. Written & Performed by Paige Wilhide.
