nternational singer and performer TL Forsberg, known in Deaf Culture as the “Deaf Lady Gaga,” brings her lived experience to the stage in Between Two Worlds, a 60-minute solo performance performed in ASL and English.
Through original music, video projection, and dynamic physical storytelling, TL traces a Hard of Hearing singer’s rise to recognition, her collision with cancel culture, and the personal reckoning that follows. With a Trans character and a disabled character as story guides, the show explores identity, belonging, visibility, and the question: Who gets to belong?
A sold-out Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026 favorite, Between Two Worlds won Best of Fest at SoloFest 2026 and the Rainbow Award at the LA Women’s Theatre Festival, and was nominated for the Ella Turenne ART-ivism Award and Theatre 68 Take the Stage Award at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
TL’s previous work has earned six Best of Fringe awards, a Top of the Fringe nomination, the Namba Solo Splash Award, the Pearl Award for Innovation in Deaf Culture, and a Hollywood Fringe Diversity Scholarship.
